Gary was 49 years old when he passed suddenly from a heart attack . The day he passed left a large void in our family’s life. The hours passed then days ,little did we realise the love so many people had for Gary . Each day brought another story from a family member or an old friend about how kind and thoughtful he was ,always the first to offer his help. Gary was born in Templemore Avenue Hospital in Belfast to Joan and Billy Shaw. He had a younger brother Alan and baby sister Yvonne .

Gary at the young age of 15 years old loved his Vespa Scooter . The video shows the respect and love other club members had for Gary forming guard of honour at his funeral
Gary's Story..
Gary loved to work with his hands, a skilled cabinet & kitchen maker. and later a window installer. Gary married his childhood sweetheart Heather at the age of 19 who he dated from the age of 15 and they had 3 children .Darren ,Carol-Anne and Kim. Gary's other love was his grandchildren Riley and Aaliyah. His Grandchildren became his new obsession making sure they had an amazing childhood exploring everything to do with nature and all the world had to offer.
Gary had a great sense of fun! enjoying a few beers and the inscription
" We are here
for a good time not a long Time" Was a motto he believed in.
